J's interest in storytelling began when he was a young boy. From the time he was old enough to sit in the theatre, his mother would take him to the movies with her every Sunday. After the film was over, he and his mom would talk about the films and it wasn't long before J started thinking about his own stories.
After college, J moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting and comic books. After a disappointing first few years in the city, J went into a creative isolation that would span five years. When he emerged, he had over a dozen projects to shop around and a new found love of pigeons. Shortly afterwards, The Coop Studios was born.
J is managed by Jeff Diamond at Octagon Entertainment and repped by Jordan Lonner and Mikey Schwartz-Wright at United Talent Agency.
